Whoa! Me too. But I’ll sit out the first round of hardware (as I usually do) to see how buggy that conversion might be… Still.
Whoa.
WANT. I sketch so much better in the traditional manner – whenever I want to paint digitally, I have to sketch it out on paper first, then scan, then clean up the scanned image because there’s always dust and smudges no matter how clean I try to keep the sketch. This, I like.
OhMyOhMyOhMyOhMyOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I’m reduced to gibberish, that is so cool and exciting! I mean…. you don’t even bloomin’ have to be near your computer when drawing!!!!! SQUEEEEEEE!
I can see when I get money again, I’m going to become Wacom’s slave. I want a Cintiq, and now I want this too! Way cool.
Wondering about how the pen handles and what kind of ink it uses. And I see a bold new day of convention sketches. Doodles all day for fans, uploads to the internet that evening! WAY cool. If this is affordable before I leave for Australia, me want big time.
It’s listed on the Wacom site as $199 coming in mid-September. Which, all things considered, is reasonable.
I really need to find a job!
My only concern is that unbroken line of site to the receiver. I can always stick a ruler behind the pen, but I use circle and ellipse templates a lot. Being able to export as vector graphics sounds like a dream come true.
