Hey folks, sorry for irregular updates. I completely forgot about a small assignment I agreed to do ages ago, and it came up and bit me on the butt. I had to drop everything and go do. I will get back to the webcomic ASAP.
Here’s an ancient portrait of Seren that most of you have never seen. I only published it once, and it’s never been reprinted. I am pretty sure I swiped the pose from a magazine, but I can’t recall where.
I did this way back when I was renting a room from a lady editor who used to have me draw slash porn for her in exchange for food. Ah, memories! This was one of the few drawings from that time that I actually kept for myself.
Never saw that one. Nice! Any thoughts of doing one of those post-Photoshop color jobs on it?
I’ve dabbled with coloring this in Photoshop. In fact, it was one of the first pieces I tried to color in Photoshop! But I didn’t like my results. I have so many portraits and sketches, I don’t know why I just didn’t think to run more while I was chasing a deadline. Most people would never have seen this. It was only printed in one comic, and it’s never been seen since. Circa 1986, I think.

And, hopefully this isn’t rude, this is such a delicate piece that if it were colored, IMO it would need to be pretty minimalist, and possibly only tint the areas you’ve painted.
Er, penciled, not painted. Durr.
Yeah, I’ve tried coloring it, and it is immediately overwhelmed. I might give it another go later. Some of my drawings look great colored, and were very easy to pull off. Not this one.
