Here’s an A Distant Soil piece you’ve probably never seen – it’s never been published in any collections. Thanks to some nifty scanning tips from specialist Allan Harvey, who spent years working in photography and restoration, I got a great result out of this scan from a photocopy!

I have many commissions I thought I could not print because I didn’t know how to get a good scan. Allan gave me great advice! This scan looks just fine. I’m just now getting around to re-scanning the 250+ pages of interior art from the books. Much better quality. I’m no longer sweating the new edition.
I’ve gotten roughly 100 pages to scan from fans. It’s amazing! I will post a list of the kind people who helped out, soon.
