Another unpublished piece. The drawing might be about 15 years old.
I pulled this out in 2007 and attempted to color it in Photoshop. I didn’t really know how to do it. I didn’t understand how layers worked. I actually lost a few jobs because clients didn’t want analog art anymore! So, I’d get hired, and then they’d ask for something in layers. I had no clue what that was. I colored this on almost all one layer!
I found this abandoned on my computer, fiddled with it a bit more, and here it is.
Now I am amazed how much easier coloring on computer is than painting by hand. I still don’t have serious digital skills, because I spend most of my time drawing. I have to relearn a lot when I get back to the computer after weeks or months of absence! I really need to make sure I work with it every other day, at least.
This is beautiful! Just Stunning! I draw but its not as good as yours. I cant draw a body to save my life. I think I’ll stick to writing Disney stories and hope they publish it. I started this series when i was in highschool two years ago. I was bored during lunch so I picked up the 3rd volume. I was captivated by your work but was confused because i had no bloody idea what was going on. But i started from the beginning and fell in love with it! I just wanted to shoot the people that were hurting Seren, Liana, Jason and the others. Good Riddance Sere you were a bitch so burn in Hell for Hurtin poor Sweet Seren! Emeris can join you too that Sadistic Bastard! All of them can go except Eshi i honestly have no problem with she just seems out of it. Give them Hell Liana. Ok I’m done ranting. Again your artwork is gorgeous. And i have to say Minnetti, Kovar, Galahad…Total Hunks!!! D’mer gets on my nerves although he’s funny. I always shed tears for poor Liana and Seren! I’m rooting for you guys! Anyone know where i can get a blaster and shoot the Hierarchy? No? Damn! Funny little tidbit the library at school ordered the first volume and i was thrilled that i even had it on hold so i could read it first- you never know where we manga and comic books geeks are lurking- only to find out that it was The Aria with a volume one cover! I was so mad but then i discovered this site was able to read it to my hearts content! I am actually gonna start it over in case i missed something. And Ninri, really? the definition of Bitch doesnt bother you but the sight of that sweet adorable dog makes you faint?
