wow is that an awesome discovery for a video tribute, not just to Neil Armstrong but to Bob Hope and John Denver, two very funny and talented people who are also missed.
Listening to John Denver talk though in the light of hindsight about flying… still such a tragic death. And damn you Final Destination movie for the association in my head now.
I adored John Denver. I know lots of people dismiss him and think his music was cornball, but he was a very important force in bringing folk guitar music into the mainstream. I have a lot of respect for him and his humanitarian work. And, of course, for his contribution to the space program.
His death was so sad. I really miss him.
