Irish History Goes Graphic
I found time to do an interview about my new DC/Vertigo graphic novel Gone to Amerikay, written by Derek McCulloch, with cartoonist John Walsh, creator of Go Home Paddy, at The Wild Geese, a website dedicated to Irish history, geneology and culture. You can read the interview for free HERE.
Also, The Wild Geese has a fantastic Indiegogo fundraiser to which I have contributed. The funds raised will be used to update the site and provide a myriad of excellent services for those interested in Irish history and culture.
There is no long wait to get the goodies, and the swag is awesome. If you donate, there are lots and lots of incredible incentives, and I want them all! You can get a signed poster from the beautiful film “The Wind That Shakes the Barley”, a chance to march in the St Pat’s Day parade, an Irish Whiskey collection, cd’s, clothes, a claddagh pin, books, a Certificate of Irish Heritage, and many more outstanding goodies. I got my father a Certificate of Irish Heritage, and he absolutely loved it. It hangs in a prominent place in his man cave.
If you’ve got a few bucks, throw it at The Wild Geese IndiGogo campaign! Less than 2 days left! CHECK IT OUT!
I apologize for infrequent blogging, but since most of my time is eaten up with getting new comics and cover art completed and sent to publishers, I hope no one is too disappointed.
