Kovar

Easily one of my most successful portraits. Hand drawn private commission in pencil. I later colored it digitally with handmade paper, gold and oil emulsion.

    Aww! Now I love Kovar even more! Everyone should have a Kovar in their life!

    Which Avatar is it in this portrait that Kovar finds silly, yet very endearing? Seren or Liana?

    My guess is that once he does know Liana better, he’ll just ADORE her!

    Careful here Ladies, Gents and Selwits…..looks like we;re in danger of turning the big K into a version of Mr Spock…..and look at all the trouble he had with humans. 😀

    I always have thought of him as rather Spock like. Spock after he’d become a Dad. Having Kovar might be close to having her real Dad back for Liana. Jason not so much I expect. no one will ever replace Aeren for him. Poor Kovar is just one of many Ovanan who have already discovered Humans are trouble! 😮 Humans and every other Earth species they encountered! Earth creatures, we are really horrible things! No wonder Niniri wanted to channel Marvin the Martian and use Liana to destroy our beloved blue home world in an Earth Shattering Kaboom. I wonder if Earth also obstructed her view of Venus.

    You have just given me a Mental Image of Niniri dressed like Marvin the Martian, complete with oversize tennis shoes, tiny, little skirt and very silly hat….

    Read what? Imagined similarities between Kovar and Spock? Niniri as Marvin The Martian, clothes and all? Pesky humans and other assorted Earth creatures cramping the style of Ovanans? Remember, I also think that Prince Valiant and the CE-LO are the same species. Don’t Enel get me started on Darth Vader and General Tarkin as a Disco dancing couple. Or my theory about Nancy Drew and Trixie Belden……

    Eh, he’s Ovanan–They’re all born with perfect hair, growing in the most attractive places, and NONE of it ever needs fussing over, either!

    Sorry I haven’t been on in a long time! Been dealing with crap like my surgery being postponed and some psycho ex best friend acting like a bitch and stealing my character and having her tortured because we had a difference in opinion. Just ugh. But! I am so happy to see Kovar (nearly) smiling. Tis wonderful!

    Thank you! And I have wonderful news! I’m scheduled for surgery on September 30th for my Cochlear implant! So excited!
